He is particularly experienced in the financial services sector and with matters involving financial information and analytics. Preston combines operational leadership and legal acumen to guide clients through high-stakes privacy litigation with confidence and clarity. Before entering private practice, he served in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Preston served as a navigation instructor at the Littoral Combat Ship Training Facility, the navigator aboard USS Forth Worth (LCS-3), and the Main Propulsion Officer aboard USS Chafee (DDG-90).
